Default New to Necro, advice needed please

I just started a new Necro in Factions. I've never played a Necro at all. I've been thinking about Rt as a secondary because it's a new class.

Looking for advice on what skills to use at the beginning and such. Sorry for such a vague question, but, I'm honestly clueless as far as Necro skills.

Thanks in advance for your time, effort, and help!!!

Try out the various secondary class quests and see which ones you like. There are many variations that work, so see what "feels" right. You can always switch later.

For the purpose of doing well inthe begning, I'd personally say you'd want to go N/Mo until you're comfortable. This will give you the ability to learn your Necro skills pretty well and keep yourself healed. Otherwise you could go full Blood Necro and drain the life out of everything while keeping yourself up.

N/W would be a good defensive way to go, but not the best build later on.

I think the real question is, where do you want to go with yur Necro? Alot of people want to do specific things b/c they hear/read abotu what other people do.

all in all though i'd say to start off, N/Mo is the safest.

Use the ones you are given... Then depending on which of them you like, keep adding skills from that line. So if you enjoy vamp gaze, then keep adding the blood based skills.

Anet did pretty well in picking the initial skills for each class and the initial areas are very forgiving.

as bobrath said, jus experiment. u find a skill u like, add mo points to dat attribute. i later u find u like a dif attribute, change it. since the days of refund pts are long since forgotten, there's no hassle in changin attribute, which imo, makes game less diffucult. anyways, some thoughts to consider are:
do like to be able and keep urself alive? then go blood
do u like summoning an army (not much of an army after nerf) and blowing up corpses? go death
or, do u like pissing off warriors and causing moderate aoe dmg? go curses

and, as always, put points in sr, that little energy bosst when sumthin dies always helps!
